Our main focus when developing websites is usability. When a client receives their website we want them to feel empowered to take control of their site, and to be able to easily update it as they wish.
To enable the smooth running of a website we build our websites using the content management system (CMS) concrete5.
Concrete5 is an editing system which we style and develop to match your website needs. The benefit of concrete5 is that it is easy to use and edit.
There are many other systems out there for managing web content, two of the bigger names are Wordpress and Joomla. From our experience however concrete5 is the simplest and most intuitive system.
Almost immediately our clients find they are able to manage content, add, edit or delete pages and images and update blogs and calendars. We have a detailed 'Quick Start' guide to editing in concrete5 that we provide to all clients which outlines the key editing steps. Usually clients require just this guide and maybe one follow up phone call to be in full control of their site or system.
Our own site is built using concrete5 and we are active members of the concrete5 community, keeping ourselves fully informed as to updates and system improvements as they become avaliable. Several 'blocks' built by us to extend on concrete5's functionality are avaliable for free in the concrete5 marketplace. We help out on the concrete5 forums aswell and from this have become a Community Leader.
